Lake Vermilion Cleaver Board - Ambrosia Maple

Lake Vermilion Trading Company is proud to offer The Cabin Collection by Black Walnut, an exclusive line of handcrafted charcuterie and serving boards made by Black Walnut craftsman Jeremy Novak.

This cleaver shaped board is made from colorful Ambrosia maple and accented with a clean walnut inlay that highlights the natural contrast between light and dark hardwoods. No stains or chemicals are used, as the beauty comes directly from the wood itself.

The cleaver board features an engraved depiction of the lake’s iconic shoreline. Boards measure approximately 7.5" × 19" × 0.75" However, expect natural variations in size, grain, and color that make every board unique.

While designed to serve as a premium serving and display piece, each board is also durable enough for use as a cutting board.

Custom designs are also available through Black Walnut, including specific Lake Vermilion bays, islands, and personalized engravings. If you have an idea in mind, let us know!

Care Instructions 

Clean: Hand wash with warm water and mild soap; Dry immediately. Do not soak.

Condition: Reapply food-grade mineral oil or butcher block conditioner when the wood begins to look dry.

Avoid dishwasher use, standing water, extreme heat

Maintain: Store in dry location. Oil regularly to help prevent cracking and keep the wood looking its best.
